Leo Roberts was born in Russellville, Arkansas.  He attended Oklahoma A&M College from 1946 through 1951 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry.  While in school, Roberts was a member of OAMC’s first rodeo team.  He married his wife, Jimmie, while at OAMC and together they have three children.

Roberts has remained active at OSU over the years, serving as a member of the Diagnostic Lab Advisory Board as well as a stint as President of the Animal Science Alumni Association.
