Turner Meadors, born in Wetumka, Oklahoma attended OAMC after serving in the Navy. Meadors attended OAMC from 1946 through 1950 and studied Animal Husbandry. Together with his wife Pat, they have three children.
While in school, Meadors was a member of OAMC’s first rodeo team.
