F.L. Holton, a native of Cameron, Oklahoma, attended OAMC starting in 1937 and graduating in 1941. While in school, F.L. was involved with Lambda Chi fraternity, Commerce Student Council, Intra-fraternity Council, League of Young Democrats, and the Hell Hounds. He also worked as a reporter for the Daily O’Collegian and was the 1941 editor of The Redskin campus yearbook.
He married fellow OAMC alum, Genevieve Benbrook Holton. Together, they have three children.
