A native of Keota, Oklahoma, Charles (C.A.) Overstreet attended Oklahoma A&M College in the 1940s. C.A. majored in Animal Science Agriculture and was involved with Sigma Nu fraternity while at OAMC. He was also President of the Ittanaha Club, an Indian club on campus.
C.A. married Margaret Ann Talbot, a fellow OAMC alum. Together with Margaret, they have four children
